It’s the dehumanisation of the people being deported that is the bigger, much more repugnant and dangerous issue.
If Obama and Biden deported more people than trump did then he should be singing their praises. But he isn’t. Trump is using these people as scapegoats and distraction. Did it in 2016, doing it now.
I saw in a youtube vid that Dems aren’t going to rock the boat to hard yet, they are going to let the GOPs hang themselves, otherwise their message will get stale
I don’t like the public humiliation of the deportees. I agree there is a crass showtime PR element to them. The less we see of them on TV the better.
Edit: there are multiple videos that were released back in Obamas time of chain gangs of illegal immigrants being marched along after being rounded up by ICE

Trump saying that the Canada and Mexico trade deal is screwing over the USA is hilarious - given he’s the one that negotiated it.
He’s doing everything a man of 80+ can be expected to do.
His latest video was somewhat heartbreaking, you could hear him try to hold back the frustration he’s feeling.
