Taking either side in any Islam vs Israel battle/ is a no win situation for any western government. Especially countries like the USA, the UK and Australia who have offered safe haven to both sides. For the PM, it’s like walking barefoot on the edge of razor blades.
As to Israel’s disproportionate response to the October 7 2023; it was/is appalling.
However, I think we all have functioning memories and note ongoing rocket attacks which have been going on for decades, and probably would still have, until finally Israel did something about it.
None of that is any comfort to vast numbers of innocent kids and their mothers in Gaza who survive today. I cannot propose a solution to the whole shitshow in the Middle East. Those who have been able to seek and be granted residency in the safe havens mentioned above are very lucky people imo.
