I’m not both siding anything. I’ve said it was unjustified and wrong.
I’m saying I can see how it happened with untrained thugs. The Renee Goods shooting was simply murder.

Have you watched the whole footage leading up to the shooting? It’s totally reprehensible.
No, no you can not.
He is not threatening them in anyway. His hands can be seen in front of him, first protecting himself from hitting the ground, then protecting his head.
Dude, just fkn stop.
Jan 6th is their crossing of the rubicon moment that history will point at.
well cave paintings maybe
This one is every bit as much murder.
Yes.
Ok, lets go with a HUGE maybe that the agent who fired didn’t know the victim was disarmed. They still had the guy on the ground 8 v 1 and reasonably restrained, even after shooting him they absolutely flooded the guy with bullets and made damn sure he was dead. To me thats murderous intent.
Did you ever see people defend the 5 police who shot the kid with the butter knife at Northcote Skate park?
Shocking.
Perp was still armed and actively threatening Police in that case.
This man was restrained.
Did the government come out and say he was an assassin?
There’s no discussion. Absolutely no discussion. Don’t allow yourself to be even remotely moved by the suggestion that this was anything other than 6 men assaulting a single man helping a woman and filming them, then one of them shooting the absolute ■■■■ out of him.
You’re excusing the killers because they were untrained?
They are always going to come back to the argument of Don’t interfere with or obstruct ICE from doing their job
Don’t confuse yourself.
I’m not justifying anything.
You’ve got an armed man on the ground. Well trained police could de escalate from there. These aren’t trained police. So therefore I can understand how it happened. You can pick apart the blame on the government for having them there in the first place.
In no way am I saying this was right or justified.
No. Again I can understand why it happened because they are untrained. It’s not an excuse.
This is a reasonable way to put it and highlights one of the many issues with ICE.
*except were assuming the agent didnt know the victim was disarmed.
