That makes no sense to shut fans out for this game tonight. None.

Just cordon off an area that people aren’t allowed to go in. What is the danger of people standing in the outer on the roadside wing?? Not even near any construction to my knowledge. Unless they’ve started constructing something over that side since a week ago.

I suspect they have (actually) realised that it is going to be dark and the lighting required to make it safe for the general public to move around community oval, would be expensive (in hiring lights or the payout if someone trips).

I wonder if its to do with the ground not having a boundary fence, so cant seperate players and spectators
