i tuned out in the second qtr too

from the contests i saw tex generally beat his man but was sometimes a bit unconventional in the way he went about things. overall i would say it was a positive.
he got involved in the play a lot more than he has up forward, plus he still kicked a goal
and it was a beauty on the run.

Lacks work rate and toughness…I have more faith that Jayden will make it

I agree with you. I didn’t watch the whole game but from what I saw he was involved in the play when the ball was in his area; laid some tackles; applied pressure and kicked his customary goal. To write him off after that game seems premature

Alwyn was almost great and Jr is almost almost so far, fingers crossed the will and endeavour can be bought up to match the underlying skills

Ridiculous comment. Jayden has more goal sense but his work rate is less than ADJ at present and has shown little in the toughness stakes.

17th on the up!! Go VFL Bombers

Its pronounced “Cale”

Apologies, I should have been better and known your were having a laugh. Good to see the kid get into the game and show his talents.

Please Fark Carlton twice in one day!

Biggest positives from the match

  • Saad was on fire should have kicked 5 goals, but 4 goals and 27 possessions 3 clearances. is hard at the footy too puts his body on the line. If his ankle is ok would have to put his hand up to be the 22nd or 23rd afl player after the bye.

  • Caddy created lots of contests and ground balls for the small forwards to get to work plus kicked 3 goals 2 points probably one of his best games.

  • Jayden Davey bobbed up with 2 goals which is nice to see.

  • Bryan had a few clangers early but was good in the second half.

  • Weideman was rubbish early but was good in the last qtr taking handy intercept marks

Seems like a pretty normal reaction from family members.

Every team is.

I would think Saad has Menzies covered by a country mile.

If Menzie doesn’t do some special work tonight, Saad should replace him. Or he can replace someone else….

Saad is magic and looks like he can play multiple spots including forward pocket, forward & back flank and wing.

The last bloke that we grabbed in the mid season draft that showed a bit went the the Hawks and is now rated as the no 1 winger in the league. I wanted to keep Massimo, but this kid can also play. Dare I say it given his size and skill set he is a very shaping as a very useful asset.

Not sure we should talk about players as being assets, but that’s what he is.

Caddy’s clunks were legit. Hard to believe he is only 192cm.

Wingspan baby

nah hes 194cm

from Big footy

"Listed as 193 cm but interestingly Caddy states his arm span is 6’8 (203 cm) which is actually Wrights height.

Not sure what 2MPs arm span is (tricky to find).

Arm span in general is loosely assumed be at a 1 to 1 ratio of someone’s actual height so Nate has really long arms, 10 cm longer than the generalised normal lol.

Curnow is 194 cm with what looks like a large arm span which I’d also be quite curious to know what it is."
