Sounds like AFL material to me.
What does this even mean? If other mids are running hard he doesn’t have to?
The dogs VFL team ran out the game better then ours, we had multiple players who are on their way back from injuries and others who seemed to get injured during the game.
Didn’t watch the second half how did Robey go did he back up his effort from last week?
No, it means he was often doing the running to cover for those that weren’t.
I think it’s generous saying we run out of legs, we literally gave up when the game seemed out of reach. All the fake chases. Before that it was an ok effort but the standards need lifting if they don’t play games out.
Bryan a definite in next week
Ended up more like a cos-stanza
No.
Iam very surprised at those bests I thought binns was consistently awful, bryan was nearly unsighted out the ruck and jones played about a quarter and had three touches not sure how any of those three make the list
Zero percent chance he won a few ruck contests but was a non factor around the ground at times was just standing around and only played three quarters.
He has a long way to go to get fitness and would need to do a lot more around the ground to displace blackers
Have we already Essington’d Robey?
He couldn’t get near it but when he did get it he makes things happen
I think Bryan isn’t much chop shop around for a ruck
2nd game back after missing a chunk in pre season. What do people expect? He needs to get a good 3-4 weeks under his legs and see where he’s at. (also see: Sharp, Bryan, Ridley, Kako, Clarke etc etc etc).
I thought Robey was very poor, fumbly, poor decision making and didn’t get much of it. But he’s coming off a interrupted pre season and young players struggle to put 2 good games together in a row.
He was fumbly in the last, before that he didn’t get it much, but look composed when he did. Seemed to try and force things in the last.
It was his first game back
He is a good player, just needs to get a few games under his belt
Some people are just better runners then others.
We just don’t seem to have any of those ’some people’.
Binns is one of them.
