VFL - Round 4 vs Pies @ Windy Hill, 2pm Saturday 27 April 2019

I park near the corner of Grice Cres and Brewster St and walk over the railway footbridge. Always get an easy park and it’s only about a 2 min walk.

Cheers, much appreciated.

Yeah, or Napier Cres or side streets off Brewster.

My lights dimmed when I heard “Brown out” but its a chance for :

#1 Laverde, 6 snags last week++. Its will not be as easy this week.
#2 Begley, Pressure , kicking, pure forward, is he ready yet?
#3 Langford, Overhead marking, big body midfield time++
#4. Gown Is he mobile enough to play the Brown role? Lets see.

Its going to be a fascinating game today to see who puts their hand up.

He’s 1cm shorter than our all time leading goalkicker. Hope he takes some good marks today and finishes well.

Lav & Lang for Brown & Myers

Hope Draper destroys it today, he should come in for Brown imo. Lav or Lang for Myers depending on today’s performance.

Why the ■■■■ isn’t this on channel 7?

I actually rate Begley most out of those guys. I hope he’s ready soon.

Why would they, when they could have Williamstown or Port Melbourne???

Can’t play an undersized forward line vs Geelong. This really is Draper’s time for a call up, allowing us to send Bellchambers forward. I’ve actually been fairly impressed with T-Bell’s work around the ground this year.

The thought of Laverde being matched up on Taylor or Blicavs is pretty terrifying.

I like the look of Gown but no chance he would be fit enough to run out a game at AFL level nor would he be strong enough to compete with key defenders.

He’s a couple of years away from being ready.

A couple of years? Really?

I can’t imagine we will be playing an underdone kid when we have Smack and Brown as reserves who can compete now.

Gown might get a game or two but no chance he breaks into the squad on a permanent basis.

I would be shocked if he did anyway.

He looks to have some talent though.

I reckon he has great talent and he would not be the 1st to play at the top level at a young age

I don’t disagree.

Think he’s got plenty to work with.

I just think Woosha is pretty predictable when it comes to giving kids a game.

Gown wouldn’t be anywhere fit enough to do Browns role or anywhere strong enough to do Smacks role.

We also have Laverde and Stewart in reserve.
