Cheers to everyone for the commentary. So good when it’s not streamed.

We’I’ll be 3rd on the ladder if Port beat Casey.

Great to hear positive reports on Franga.

Can’t ever recalling wanting a kid to succeed so much.

Play him next week. If he’s in form and ready to go why wait?

Just walked through the Parish triangle of kick-to-kick. Not hard to identify them.

Thanks radio @theDJR and all the commentators.

How’d my bull terrier play ?

Thanks to everyone for the commentary. Look forward to the match report and bests.

That’ll teach me to leave at 3/4 time.
Up to then lots of blokes had mixed really good bits with stuff ups - over & underhit centring passes, handballs to feet, or to a bloke about to be crunched.
No one playing a faultless game.

Assume they got their ■■■■ together in the last.

Couple of notes from various spots on the boundary line;
The scum were two blokes down by half time.

Long does some really clever, hard stuff in tight - taps to advantage, overhead handballs, disrupting their run etc.

New Lav doesn’t take a backward step. While Houlihan was lining up a shot in the second, his scum opponent whacked him. What followed was a full 30 seconds of mutual elbows and whacks, which, by the grunts of the scum player, was clearly won by New Lav, much to the despair of the umpire pleading for them to behave.
He also took a couple of nice grabs, and an unlucky snapped behind.

Draper has very good hands on the straight ahead lead. Took a couple at full pace that reminded me a bit of Salmon. Overhead pack marking still a work in progress but blocks and competes well in packs. Rucked for almost all of the second quarter.

Franga took a big hit from behind just before half time and looked a bit sorry. Great to see him rebound in the third, and sounds like he went on in the last.
Almost as if he’s pacing himself early to make sure he runs out the full game.
