Yeah edwards zero marks for the game is really dissapointing. Just offered nothing all game.
If he’s not being delisted, we should definitely continue this.

I’m hoping with Edwards it was rust after missing the previous week from injury. But hard to think Dowling wouldn’t have added more.

Zero chance they delist him imo, they’ll let him see out the year.
I think his defender just got ■■■■■■ off at Edwards dropping his knees and raising his arm for that high free in the first and just then just locked him down the rest of the game.
Both defences played really well i thought and its just we had the better smalls throughout the day to maintain that lead.
But yeah, it wasn’t a “sign me” performance by any of Cox, McMahon or Edwards.
Jaxon Binns not getting a game?
A heap of VFL players who were instrumental in our 6 game win streak to make finals were dropped for senior listed players being added from the AFL team. Binns is one of them.

Honest question - why are the VFL broadcasts so awful? I know it’s a money thing but it’s still not making sense. Is it as simple as ‘you pay peanuts you get monkeys?’
This is likely true. However, we enter 2027 with the real possibility of losing Ridley and Mc Kay is finished. Thry have a vulnerable Reid and Hayes. They will need plan B and plan C and that possibly involves Jones as a defender. It’s just being realistic and taking into account he’s still contracted
