Whining in the thread people know others are following to know what’s happening taking up post after post was what I had an issue with.
I’m annoyed about the loss, but I’m all in, and ready to do whatever it takes, to get the win on Thursday.

I worry more about losing when we have a lead than I do if scores are close. No idea how to close a game out at any level.

Nobody gives a ■■■■ about VFL. Let’s not carry on like our AFL team gave up a 40 point lead in a final.

Last time I checked the senior side was far more important and we are trying to get a victory.
Unfortunately that’s the way it goes.
Hawks played Cyril for half a VFL grand final as a tune…the VFL is not the priority, been that way for years and rightly so.

Yeah but Cyril is a deadset gun. If we legitimately think that by saving snelling from a half of vfl footy will have any bearing on the outcome of this Thursday, then we are kidding ourselves.
We could have nat fyfe and Patrick Dangerfield on our afl list and we would still ■■■■ the bed.

I reckon the vast, VAST majority of Essendon supporters are never confident that 40 points up at 3qtr time is enough.
Moreso in the seniors, but the VFL side does have some horror results in the same vein.

Who are these “senior players”? I think we only had two AFL listed players over 25 out there and Bags is properly cooked.

I mean we get another chance so that’s something. I was hoping we’d get a week off though, would of been handy. We are the Lleyton Hewitt of the AFL/VFL we have to run all day. If we take the foot off the pedal at all we get run down/run over. It’s hard work always.
