Shauna McElligot drafted by Norf with one of the final picks, so reduce the ANNOUNCED to 32 players.
Not many turned up (but it is PRE pre-season).
Not sure who Black Shirt at the front and Eyes Closed at the rear are.
Eva Harris back down here?
Southern Districts bye this week; she sits third on the NTFLW goal-kicking ladder.
Stumbled across this one on Facebook somehow, unsure if she was already announced yet but welcome Briannan.
Nice stumbling!

172cm forward â kicked 27 goals across 15 games for Eastern Ranges last year, including 2 in the premiership win from FF.
Played seniors at Boronia last year as well, and is still signed with them. The EFNL starts four weeks before the VFLW.
EFC VFLW 2026: itâs full-forwards all the way down.
P.S. Abbey McDonald has switched EDFL clubs to Hillside. Still no indication she is going to play above that level.
No NFTL(W) this weekend as they are hosting 4 âAll Starâ matches (men and women, seniors and juniors).
Videos of the junior matches are already up on the NFTL YouTube page â presumably the senior matches will follow.
Included in the senior womenâs teams are the following TIWI/EFC-related players (not sure how they decided the squads â itâs not split per NTFLW teams â maybe it was alternating picking!) are:
- Arthurina Moreen (Tiwi Bombers)
- Jorja Davey (Palmerston)
- Eva Harris (Southern Districts)
- Shakaila Gardiner-Dunn (St Maryâs) â and 2026 EFC VFLW confirmed
- Maddi Shaw (Southern Districts)
- Sarah Darcy (Tiwi Bombers)
- Rosie Wilson (Tiwi Bombers)
- Renee Tierney (PINT)
- Emergency = Leah Dunlop (Tiwi Bombers / Banks Bulldogs)
Look like the Murdoch media are holding the senior matches back for paid customers. However, highlights are available as below.
A nice snap goal by Harris was part of a last-quarter comeback by the âHeatâ to steal the win.
Freya Hibberd, who didnât play last year due to injury, posted on Instagram a few days ago about having a run with the Darebin Falcons.
Possible junior top-ups:
VIC COUNTRY SUMMER SQUAD
Bendigo Pioneers (3): Georgia Garlick, Beth Morris, Lacey Nihill
VIC METRO SUMMER SQUAD
Calder Cannons (2): Chloe Capeci, Felicity Mahoney
Megan Mifsud back to NSW, at Parramatta?
Our VFLW-listed Shakaila Gardiner-Dunn (from St Marys) is included. Yes, sheâs just over 18yo.
Also included is Jorja Davey (Palmerston).
Tiwi reps are Rosie Wilson, Taniesha John-Forrest, Maria Tipuamantamerri, and Miley Cunningham.
The Hudl 2024-2025 squad listing has been nuked, presumably accidentally as they get set to input this yearâs.
Jess Verbrugge, Amelie Gladman, Nicole Hales, Briannan Lambe and Madison Ibrahim have all signed on for 2026
We had already identified one of these (Lambe).
The first two appear not to be hurt by their AFLW cutting.
Hales is a veteran from Casey/Pies/Norf.
Madison âsticky fingersâ Ibrahim is a VFLW re-signing who was a top-up player for Melbourne AFLW in last yearâs pre-season.
Hales got to 100 games with Norf in round 12 last year. She is second only to Mia-Rae Clifford for VFLW games while with us. 30yo is a lot younger, though.
Note that the below link does not include her games pre-COVID. It does show she can play in many positions.
She has also moved to the Maribyrnong Mustangs this year.
I knew I knew Black Shirt, but the name just didnât come to mind⌠thatâs when @PH_WARFRadio is meant to tell us the obvious!
That makes 37 ANNOUNCED and several more seen in photos but not yet identified (including this one seen previously and in the photos posted today).
