Quarter time Port lead 2.2.14 to the Saints 1.2
Port had a medium wind that quarter but was the better team. Both teams went this close to extra goals.
It’s a very different game to ours. Open, little pressure, lots of marks.
Why we care: the Saints winning gives us a double chance, and the ability to proceed directly to the Grand Final if we win next week.

It’s raining now, and the game is more of a physical slog. The umpires are refusing to pay a lot of obvious frees… and as soon as I write that, Port get the first (?) holding-the-ball free AND fifty.

These umps have made some shocking decisions. Port slightly on the positive side of them, and an awful call on the wing leads directly to a Port goal.
31-21 to the Saints. Saints get it straight out of the middle, and De Angelis almost kicked a three-effort goal of the year.
