60% of the leadership group (Ashley-Cooper, Ugle, Nanscawen):
OK⦠she ended up coming from the back of the pack ā I just didnāt expect her to be there at all!
Started from the wing and Marianna Anthony applying heavy pressure. Barba and Yassir then got it forward.
Iām glad I had that extra 46cm of boomerang box height.
Just an example of how we ended up with 4.11⦠and because I liked little āMEZā brutalising them.
Was a great sequence apart from the miss!
Davies was getting to all the right spots during this quarter; here, she front-and-centres to set up the⦠point.
I include this set shot miss purely for the goal ump and the person near the camera reacting
Thereās some demonstrative bastard on his (soap)box just before that, too. I think he had a very good point about the Seagull hatching the ball, and that opinion was adopted at the next tackle.
Missed this one at the time⦠I donāt think Kendra accepted the apology!
Willy totally re-did their ground over the summer, but clearly never wondered whether the fence should be further from the boundary line. Not as bad as the North Ballarat brick fence, but geezā¦
I havenāt mentioned Nattie much, so hereās a clip. This is the mentality and effort* that wins games.
*and raw speed!
From the re-watch:
- I did not give Hosking enough credit. Everyone applied pressure all day, but Liz was a stand-out doing that forward.
- Barba remains our primary midfielder with a decent boot on her. Makes her much more dangerous. I said it two years ago, but if she doesnāt get drafted to the AFLW, for the third time, theyāre all morons⦠and I will thank them for their moronity.
- Whereas on the inside, The Honey Badger made all of the tackle.
- Slender may have not been the umpiresā favourite, but I loved her physicality.
- CBomb is one year and 339 days older than Fletcher was at retirement, and in very very very good form.
Iāll extend on this: looking at previous aerial shots, they have reduced the run-off space by more than a metre. That is shithouse and they will appropriately cop injuries from that in the years to come.
SportsTG goals below are wrong⦠sub Friswell in for Slender.

Looks like Champion Data have clocked off after entering two of the four VFLW games today⦠not including ours.
Willy continue to out-content us. Lots of (largely one-sided) assessment and two interviews at the below link: I nick a photo showing indigenous acknowledgement at the start of the game.

Info on their jumper is here:
WTF: at halftime Saints were beating Fark Carlton 27-8. FCFC pile on 0-33 in the third. The winner of this game will end this round in sixth (unless North can beat Port by more than FCFC beat the Saints).
Champion Data havenāt clocked on yet. AFL site still says we havenāt chosen yesterdayās team yet.
