The first goal was great, but personally I liked the contested mark against Eric Mackenzie. I realise this is from a couple of years ago but Mackenzie is one of the best defenders in the comp and IMO should have been an AA this year rather than Talia. So for him to show this ability has got me excited.

I know we're dirty on Ryder leaving, and the terms of the compensation, but we've been overstocked on ruck talent for years. Getting picks for Ryder and a ready made backup is a win.

Happy to have him on board. From what I've seen of him (admittedly not a whole lot) doesn't seem to have too many tricks but is an honest trier, solid as a ruck and competent when forward. Agree with other comments that he's 2nd in line to Bellchambers when he's fit, though.
