I had my first game of baseball on Saturday since doing a hammy about 6 weeks ago, and I managed to roll my ankle. Everyone keeps telling me I’m getting “old man” injuries.
Hammy is fine though.

Old man’s injuries do not start untill you reach 60. Downhill from there.

Yep, they still have to display plates if their driver needs to. No exceptions.
I would have thought having a full licence would be a requirement to be a cop?

Given minimum age to be a police officer is 18, and minimum age for full licence in Victoria is 21, there’ll be a few police officers still on probationary licences.

can carry a service weapon at 18, cannot have more than 1 passenger in your car until 21. as ludicrous as USA’s drinking laws

Not everyone gets their licence at 18, especially inner city kids. They don’t need a car with the public transport options they have.

Wasn’t sure where to post this but wanted to warn fellow blitzers to avoid the event below.
Now - as you can well imagine, I have left Marvel stadium very, very disappointed - many, many times.
But nothing compares to how I felt as we left the exhibit known as the Firelight Labyrinth with our two young daughters.
What an absolute scam.
It’s basically a concrete floor with a light show you can find in any Bunnings store at Xmas time and that’s basically it.
If you’re lucky - you’ll get one of the bean bags that are provided at a ratio of 1 bag to every 10 people, to sit in whilst you stare in disbelief at the flashing lights - trying to work out why the ■■■■ you just spent over $100 of your hard earned cash to suffer noise induced hearing loss.
The highlight of the night were the fun Uber trips there and back.

Pleased to report that I’ve found some that actually stay up.
The brand name is “All Day Socks” and they are manufactured by Underworks.
Apologies to EFC sponsors, but the “Tradie” work socks I bought were terrible.

Someone got lazy in trying to rip of this place I guess.
Tradies who dont empty their cherry picker or check before driving.
Stuck behind a truck towing a cherry picker… in the console a ton of bolts and screws were flying out and cracked my windscreen as they bounced off my car.

Well that looks like it’s got a bit more going on than a few strings of light attached to some frames - but still not something I’d go for.
The thing that annoyed me was that it was misleading. To me, a Labyrinth implies a series of connecting passages that you can get lost in. I imagined it was a maze of lights underneath Marvel - and the kids would be navigating through a series of passageways. Now that would have worth the money if it took half an hour to get through. But this. -this was just pathetic.
