What annoys you? Extra time

I will notice you

@Aceman - Jimmy screaming out the lyrics at Mornington Race Course as I sit here typing this from work.

I can record some sound bites for you if you like :joy:

I was at chisels ballarat saturday. They were fantastic. Yep, jimmy screamed his way through through, which is what he does, add Mossies licks and vocals, walkers keys and it all came together to be one of the best ive seen. To me a totally different experience to Jimmy solo. Cruel Sea as warm up, no complaints here.

The greed of some people.

You know those people who take their ex employer to fair work for unfair dismissal when that employer has opened doors for them to make them a multi millionaire - yet are still peeved at only receiving a redundancy in six figures.

Not mentioning any names. Just annoyed.

Reckon theres very few pubs that this persons complaint would pass any sort of test.

I’ve mentioned it before, but ■■■■■■■ gambling advertising.

On the radio, TV, streaming platforms, youtube, billboards, during games. Farking everywhere, all the damn time. If your whole disgusting industry needs a disclaimer at the end of every ad that boils down to “we’re hoping to get you addicted whilst we steal from you, it’s awesome (for us)!”, then you should just ■■■■ off and die. Absolute scum.

If people want to bet, fine, go do it. But I don’t need the ads shoved down the throats of my children every ■■■■■■■ day.

Not sure that is relevant or true.

Employee was sacked and had a grievance. He took it to the Umpire, and the Employer and Employee reached a settlement. Obviously the Employee had grounds for his grievance.

In any case, most of us are happy he has left the building and the rest is none of our business.

I had a situation like this, though the persons pay was modest (still $150K-$200K).

They wanted $250K on top of their entitlements for ‘reasons’ and it turned out the ‘reasons’ involved ‘gross misconduct’ orchestrated by them AFTER they departed. They ended up settling for the original offer.

In this particular case, the payment would be classified as unearned income by the ATO.

I’m sure this grievance has been aired previously, but drivers on the highway who stubbornly sit 10kph under the speed limit.

The angst and impatience they engender among other motorists make them as much of a menace on the roads as speeding drivers.

We have a lot of 100kmh sections on the way to Warrnambool, but so many just stick to 80kmh for ages.

The same drivers then motor through country towns 10ks over the limit preventing you overtaking them…

Or speed up when they reach a divided section of the road or a passing lane. Grrrrr!

150-200k is modest?

Geez. Im a pauper then.

But yeah i know a fin services exec who took his employer to unfair dismissal. Probably because he figured the reason for dismissal they(his employer) didnt want made public.

Was a big 4 exec giving cocaine to a young female rank and file employee at a work function.

The girl ended up hospitalised.

I think he ended up with a little more money. Not sure he was that employable afterwards though.

Some people are just greedy *****.

No. More modest than the person that was being referred to in the post.

The person I dealt with was fabricating information to support their claim. Awkward for them because the software records the persons name and timestamp when editing. Don’t wasn’t much of an argument, and the lawyer put on the theatrics that he was paid for.

There’s also a special place in hell reserved for drivers who can’t maintain a set speed, despite cruise control being standard in nearly all vehicles these days.

90 → 85 → 95 → 100 → 90 → 80 etc.

But there are the people who sit on cruise control, three abreast on the fwy. Just oblivious in their little bubble to all the people behind that have to get somewhere.

But please can we just KEEP LEFT UNLESS OVERTAKING. It should be on the citizens test, VCE test and pub test.

You’ll find these same people in supermarkets blocking the aisle with their trolley.

It’s easy to get angry at slow drivers blocking all the lanes. When I was younger I’d tailgate them and blow the horn.

I changed my ways to flash high beam the person in the right most lane but not tailgate them. Mostly works.

What’s blitzers view in the best and a safe way to handle this situation.
