What annoys you? Extra time

Go into settings in the App and turn off all the notifications. Stops all the pop-ups

even the popups when you open the app?

Boomer just outsmarted temu

They all stopped when I turned them off in the App settings, as I did find them annoying as well.

Why would anyone give a fark what you think ?

I didn’t say it was easy to find, but I am persistent.

Open the Temu App and when you get all the pop-ups etc closed, scroll to the bottom. There is tab named You.

Open this and a new page opens and in top left is a Settings tab, open this and check each function and close them all down.

If it doesn’t work, just don’t use the App.

When blitz is sleeping and there are no new posts.

We really are a long way away from the rest of the world.

We are, and it is a double edged sword. It is very good sometimes, but sometimes, we are so far away.

It’s really useful if there are reasonably frequent international meetings for your job and you don’t want to attend.

“I don’t think we can justify a 20+ hour flight to attend a three day meeting” is generally code for “I don’t want to attend that meeting and since COVID normalised zoom calls, we’ll do that instead”.

Thank god, further the better I say

Love Merv’s fishing show. Such a lovely easy watch.

Vicariously fishing through them is great.

He also tells me that the amount of beer Merv drinks is legendary.

Well of course, he’s a very big man

Tried to watch the replay of the last session of the cricket on 7 plus. They play 2 minutes of ads after every over. So 4 times the ads of the actual telecast. WTF. They can ■■■■ that off.

Plus you have to suffer Brayshaw yelling to create atmosphere at least once an over. Although Howie on Kayo is fast learning that yelling equals passion.
