What is the earliest time you can mow your lawn on a Sunday?

You’re asking for trouble -8am.

10am

What about using electrical appliances in the kitchen?

There’s never a good time to run a Thermomix.

You can hear it from down the road.

The earliest you can is 12.00.01 am.

The earliest you should is 11 am.

yep, 10am is the earliest allowed in Knox council area. plenty seem to fire up around 9am though. i had the welder and angle grinder going at 10.15 this morning, lol.

brief aside: i hate using angle grinders, they scare the crap out of me. i’d wear chain mail to use one if i had any, i’m that paranoid about them. a necessary evil in my job.

Whenever the guy I pay rocks up.

It’s 10am for everything, I reckon.
Including visitors.

Does that include the mother in law? Please tell me that includes the mother in law.

Hell, yes.
Everyone.
There’s no way I’d turn up at someone’s house unannounced before 10am.

You really shouldn’t turn up unannounced ever.

What about getting lawn delivered?

Our neighbour got a sh*t load of that pre-rolled lawn delivered yesterday at 6.30am. The truck driver was nice enough to park right out the front of our house, and then forklift it into the neighbours back yard.

And I had finished work at 4am,and had just dozed off the sleep. If the guy doing the delivery wasn’t so scary looking, we would have had words.

Used to sh*t bricks using a 9" grinder.

Breathed a sigh of relief when they got banned.

Those petrol powered concrete/block cutters should be next.

You have grounds to complain.

6.30am on a Saturday is bad form.

Same.

It’s a million degrees here by the time your allowed to mow. $50 a month is well spent. And considering my inner Melbourne hipster electric Eco friendly mower wouldn’t get through this stuff, much better off.

Anything past 2pm is acceptable.

Between 10am-6pm is acceptable. To the ■■■■■■ that mow after 7pm get stuffed! Wakes my son up and takes him hours to get back to sleep

My wrist watch has 3 decimal places…

So it’s ok to blast ACDC at 2AM on Sunday morning after a Saturday night party, but we must never take out the lawn mower and trim the grass at 8:00 AM on a Sunday morning.

There should be a seamless transition of noise 24/7

We live in a Democracy, not Norway

(actually we don’t live in a democracy, but its the thought that counts)

Get a push mower. Easier to start as well.

About the price of a good mower. And bonus! You don’t have to push the fuggin thing around in the heat, let alone clean up the mess. Nothing better than sipping a gin and tonic, listening to the sound of my lawn being mowed.

When was the last time you mowed the lawn, audit boy?

And cutting your mate’s grass doesn’t count.
