So that rules out Myers, Bellchambers, Bags. Hepp would never say this as captain so it can only be one of Hurley or Hooker. Both of which are no longer part of the leadership group and have bled for the club for a long time. Both of whom rejected large sums of $$$ from others clubs post saga and stuck fat.

Clearly cultural issues at Tullamarine. You think of the footy we played in the first half against West Coast away last year with the same cattle plus Shiel, and we’ve shut up shop for some reason

Ivan, Mitchell isn’t a proven coach. He has only recently retired as a player. He is no Clarkson. No Beveridge, Hardwick, Simpson. They all did apprenticeships. He hasn’t done one.

I’d rate Cale is being very important to us and has Maintained form & passion post saga when in defence. Though agree with Hichael Murley.

One thing that needs to change is the unwillingness to rebuild.

We will have one bad year pick up one high draft pick and think we are good to go.

Done that consistently for 20 years.

Look at Collingwood, shipped off Shaw, Thomas, Beams, Daws, Wellingham and O’Brien from their premiership winning team and rebuilt to be back where they are. We don’t have the balls to do similar.

I saw some positives but we did have a pretty low base. Certainly don’t think will be OK for rest of season.
