I’m a nurse who is working as a Case Manager for elderly people who have been in hospital and who are in temporary care why they and their families work out what next. I enjoy the job because it supports people during a tough time.

I’m a bit of a guilty blitzer at work and only do it when quiet, preferring lurking late at night away from work. However, I can’t keep away when big decisions that have continually gone bad have been going on.

I run a fostercare team. We basically work with Child Protection to give kids a home who can’t live with their families anymore.
It’s a great job and it sucks - often in the space of a day. It makes a you value what you have in your own life but it sometimes gives you a bit of a distorted view about what “normal” actually looks like.
The pay is not that great but that’s the choice you make.
Blitz, would you believe, provides a bit of an escape sometimes during the day.
