Teacher. Would I reccomend it? Probably not if you want stability. And don’t mind dealing with idiots (parents and people that have no idea department of education etc. not necessarily the kids) The holidays are great and on the surface pay is pretty good but as I said dealing with idiots can take the fun out of it. As can the work that you take home as you don’t just leave at a set time and have free time.
Anyway I have started in a new job and as yet I have not taught any of the kids this year so I may have a different attitude tomorrow. I am now working at an Islamic school and I am not of the Islamic faith so we will see how it goes, but so far my colleagues have been very welcoming and I am going to spread the gospel of Essendon as much as I can. I have made the display boards have black with red outline. Probably should have done a sash on them but it would get covered over before too long.
EDIT: I have not had direct access to Blitz through the department too often. I did once but it was a while ago and I cannot remember where. I could do so on my phone but I try to avoid typing for much length on it as I would rather use a keyboard.
