Good, he is a scummo and we donā€™t need someone who always fell short and who has allegations of his sort inside our building period. Ross tha boss talk can fark right off.

Absolu past it. Hasnā€™t been in a tactical coaching position for over a decade. Heā€™d be a great mentor but concerned if he is being considered for a senior coach job

He referenced an experienced coach. Hird is not an experienced coach.

Voted Hird, because thatā€™s exactly the kind of half arsed moved the board would make, but warming to Buckley if heā€™s available. As good a football brain as anyone, and has been known to deliver a spray.

AND heā€™s not Ross the Toss.

We canā€™t be that closed minded. Preference could be prior senior experience, but that shouldnā€™t deter us from selecting an untried coach if they are by far and away the standout candidateā€¦

Hird should not even be in consideration.

It doesnā€™t matter who we appoint, no coach can succeed with the ā– ā– ā– ā–  sandwich of a football program we currently have.

Heā€™s 49. Heā€™s not
Going to become a senior coach again at 56

Next coach ā€¦Scott Gumbleton

No Brad Scott?

I said it in another thread butā€¦

This is a very rare time in the clubā€™s history we can conduct an extensive and professional coaching search process that ticks all the boxes.

No ā€˜jobs for matesā€™ or behind the scenes negotiations without a process.

I would be so disappointed if we again donā€™t learn from past lessons and go with the latter.

Open it up. Get a proper panel (not just internal). Review candidates. Conduct extensive interviews. Review presentations. Make a professional and unbiased decision.

If it takes weeks and weeks? So be it.
