I am not at all confused. The Stewart non decision l consider the worst of a bad day. He had possession, took a couple of steps, was tackled and dropped the ball. Clear as day, obvious free, nothing to see here, play on.
And also fired from his umpiring job.

Iāll give the footy media some credit this week. They have really defended Essendon this week, with a majority of them saying that the end margin was not really a true reflection of the match and that the 3rd quarter was heavily influenced by poor umpiring, which completely changed the momentum of the match.
There is the odd farkwit that says that the umpiring wasnāt a factor, but 90% are one our side.

Lets wait until this Friday night.
Maybe it will work in our favour. I think AFL house would be acutely aware that we were as hard done by as any side this season in a game.
I donāt watch that many non ess games but I canāt recall one of ours that was so one sided in a period of time(full quarter of footy) that it markedly affected the scoreboard and hence the result.
(Excluding last second decisions like draper falling on the footy vs Adelaide ).
It was accentuated because it was a great hard defensive game of footy vs the cats until that point.

I think going on umpiring.
Lets say they have given Brad clarity on some interpretations and he coaches to that.
If its not consistent in the first quarter the following week then there should be a feedback mechanism at quarter time.

Correct CJ, but the afl have ticked off correct decision because he made an attempt, but it was incorrect disposal. This is why Iām confused. If itās not holding the ball or dropping the ball it should be incorrect disposal.

That ducking weasel Weightman got 4 free kicks to keep the dogs in the game. We dominated the first half, but the umpires kept finding rubbish frees to them in our forward 50 in a very low scoring game.

Itās frustrating that the AFL ticks off on decisions that you see paid 95/100 times. Yet somehow the Caldwell HTB decision against the suns was the correct decision.
