Ye Olde VFL MegaThread — August 2013 to December 2015

NO’B has endurance (see pre-season hype) and maybe I’m being a little harsh given Watson will presumably still be out, and Chappy may not play. Stanton demonstrates that while you may get exploited on pure pace you can still do damage and create links if you just run run run.

He’s done more than KAV this year.

Good enough for me, bring him in!

Episode 4, the VFL thread. A new hope.

Jesus I’m not looking forward to WADA Strikes Back

Wait till Vlad takes his mask off and reveals he was our father all the time.

Quick summary:

NO’B 162 DreamTeam points!

Next best (for either team) is McKernan on 120; that’s 28 disposals, 18 hit-outs, two goals three behinds (including a couple posters, IIRC).

Edwards 22 and 4.2

Browne, The Langford and Laverde all 21 and a goal. Laverde also three more points; clearly his best tally and the first game in which he’s been released from the forward line to the middle.

Winder 18

Giles 2 goals 1 behind, 11 disposals, 5 marks, 15 hit-outs. While the hit-out numbers are low for our rucks, we still won 33 to 22!

McKenna looked like a star with just 10 disposals and 4.1

What was obriens disposal efficiency? Or supercoach score?

You don’t get efficiency/contested/etc stats in the app. Typically have to wait till Monday or Tuesday for the fuller stats to appear on the VFL website.

That was the kind of belting you see in an Asterix cartoon.
if I could like this post 100 times I would.

Play Frankston with an extra 2 days break next Saturday.

Play well and then draft their best player!

Hird’s father? What a twist.

Now I’m picturing Tania Hird in a bikini chained to fat prick with his tongue lolling out the side with drool running down his chin…

Pr!ck… swear filter is a bit Catholic school.

Hardbgham was dropped long after his early goal kicking exploits, when he started to be ■■■■ again

Brownlow medal then. Woohoo!

Tippa could be the crumbing forward we need. Liked his reading of the play, getting to the fall of the ball, his tackling and second efforts.

FWIW, after 8 games for most teams, the “times in best” leaders are:

Daniel Currie (Werribee): 7/8
Daniel Venditti (Coburg): 6/7
Matt Hanson (Werribee): 6/8

Steinberg 6/8

NO’B 5/8
McKernan 4/6

KAV 3/6
Fantasia 3/6
Edwards 3/7

Jerrett 2/2
Ashby 2/4
Qwilt 2/5
Laverde 2/7
TIPPA 2/7
McKenna 2/7
Polkinghorne 2/7
Hardy Boy 2/8

Everyone else no more than 1.

TIPPA. believe.

Momentum building.

Plenty of loads shot last night
