What’s Nudge done?
Probably Simone Buchanan, but that’s not important right now.
Darling Buds of May starred a young Catherine Zeta-Jones.
The version of Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle was superb.
77 Sunset Strip had 2 sister shows - Hawaiian Eye and Surfside Six (in Miami Beach). I liked James A Michener’s Adventures in Paradise with Gardner McKay as Adam Troy.
Surely Monty Python’s Flying Circus
Fawlty Towers
The Young Ones
The Office UK
The Simpsons
Seinfeld
The Wire
I’m Alan Partridge
Futurama
Breaking Bad
Peep Show
(Curb, Blackadder, Brass Eye, Mad Men, Fleabag, The Office US, Fargo, Press Gang, Mr Bean, Black Books, South Park, Six Feet Under, The Sopranos, The Larry Sanders Show, Monty Python - all could nudge in depending on mood)
With Hal Todd ads spruiking Del Monti suits”look good, feel good, ARE good!”
No mention of ‘Happy Days’ yet
OR ‘Mork n Mindy’
Shame Blitz…SHAME
Sopranos

Now for famous Iga Ninja disappearing trick.
Next minute Tombei is bound in ropes yelling for Shintaro to come and rescue him. He was so incompetent he should have been called a Noneja!

Game of Thrones. (Would be pretty stiff to miss, considering it’s essentially just the last 2-3 eps that killed it for me.)
Special mentions Better Call Saul, Buffy, Angel, Fargo, South Park, The Sketch Show, Black Books, Episodes, Peep Show and Extras.
**
There’s a few shows that miss out because they ran too long, and soured their legacy. But at their peak, they were in my top 10.
Weeds (first 4-5 seasons is some of my favorite all time TV)
Californication
Sons Of Anarchy
Entourage (for about 2-3 seasons)
No where near enough Hank Moody in this thread🤨
I can tell people’s personalities simply based on the shows that they like the best.
A lot of love for Get Smart in here.
Man, I did a stage adaptation of Get Smart about 10 years ago, which we thought would sell buckets of tickets and make us a tidy profit. It sold fark all, and we lost quite a bit of cash on it.
Where the fark were you all then??
TV shows:
GOT (an amzing spectacle even if they lost their way in the last season or two. Battle of the Bastards and the Loot Train episodes were just amazing, and Lianna Mormont will go down in history as the most badass 9 year old ever)
Firefly (just because)
Simpsons
Futurama
MASH (because my Dad loved this show)
The Man in the High Castle
Stargate (all of them. Yes, even Universe.)
X-Files
Blackadder
The Late Show (d-gen!)
Deadwood (for Ian McShane alone it would be worth it)
Stranger Things
Sherlock
Red Dwarf (another that is now very dated)
Rome (great show, but reportedly got axed so HBO could fund some other swords and dragons show…)
Miniseries:
Band of Brothers
The Pacific
Chernobyl
The Test
ANZACS (dated now, but great when it first came out)
Ken Burns docos - Baseball, The Civil War, The War, Vietnam, The West
Generation Kill
The World at War
Jury is out (wait and see):
The Mandalorian (liking it so far)
The Boys
If I was to redo this list tomorrow it would probably be completely different.
Nice.
