#12 Mark Baguley

Played well as a half forward

The only change i’d think about for next week is Green in for Laverde, but not sure i’d Even do that

That contest where he splits the 2 v 1, taps to Tippa, passes inside 50, goal.

Amazing

Stuey Dew GF blind turn sorta ■■■■ that wins premierships.

Green for Laverde. Not quite like for like, but it’s colour for colour.

Not unless he starts kicking goals it won’t. But it’ll make it ■■■■■■ hard at selection.

Actually said the same during the game. Bring Green in for Laverde. Bags stays.

The last player you talk about dropping.

Isn’t it funny that the attitude we’ve been screaming to see from the players could be best summarised as “be more like Bags”?

Good decision by Wooshka to stick by Bags, in the role he had faith he could play.
Collect a few points Wooshka and your amended crew.

He’s smarter than fully half the people here, I’ll give him that.
Now, about Langford…

Best game in a long time.

Now about Wooshka…

If he keeps setting up like that, he’s sold me.
Maybe he needed the threat of the sack to actually coach properly, but you know what?
I don’t care what motivates him.
So long as he’s motivated to win.
As opposed to at least two very clear games, and I strongly suspect others.

Was his best game ever fwd (not a big sample) tonight but objectively I don’t think it’s really sustainable and as a “playing the %s” decision at the selection table I’d still be choosing Green over him for a variety of reasons

Wooshka and Wimmera - it’s got some symmetry…

Amuses me how some clappers were like wimm loses nothing by his bet.

Look at Standy go after 1 win

I agree with this but at the moment i’d drop Lav first.
Bit of a conundrum though… if playing the kids, then Bags should make way.
But Bags sets a good standard for defensive intent

I reckon he stays fwd, and enters the mid rotations, along with Green etc.

Found another leg since being shifted, and he has just the sort of grunt we need in there when playing in this vein.

Just had to pop in here and admit I was wrong about Bags. It’s a conditional apology as I said he was cooked as a defender and he played forward today of course, but still -great game- typified the whole side today, effort personified.
