Even some time on the wing would get him more involved compared to what is happening now.

We need Archie’s brilliance up fwd, would be insanity to move him, he’s one of our shining lights this year winning his position most games, and god knows we have very little in the cupboard for medium to small sized forwards

Archie isnt good enough to be a mid, Baldwin isnt good enough to be selected, Ditto Wanganeen.
Whats the worst that can come of it? We will keep losing games.
We need to be giving the kids as much opportunity as possible, because regardless this team is going nowhere.

Yeah, I’ve changed my thoughts on this. Had to remember we are ■■■■, not playing finals, and this year is a complete write off.
Play the kids, within reason, and develop them.
And more so because of how bad our VFL team is. No one will develop down there.

This whole attitude of making the kids earn their stripes is the BS that arrogant teams dribble out, and we have absolutely no reason to be an arrogant club.
Guys like Perkins and Hobbs are gonna sit in the forward line and learn that to be a senior midfielder you need to play dumb, unaccountable and selfish football.
It would drive me nuts if I was Archie and I was seeing 29yo senior footballer highest paid player in the team being pushed aside, out bodied and eating grass whenever an opponent touches him.
