Nah he isn’t like McClug at all, I don’t think I’ve really made much of a comparison for Perkins but Fyfe would be pretty close.

Reminds me a bit of Archie Perkins myself.

He’s a lad with a bit of forward craft that has huge potential to play midfield and also continue to build his forward work.

He’s going to be exactly what we have been crying out for the last decade. Will it happen this year? No, but it will happen.

But what about the guy who had a feeling that he would turn out a dud?

Think he’s still sitting at home in the basement, watching ■■■■, waiting for his mum to feed him, and posting furiously on Blitz.
…oh, you meant Perkins.

I always think what sets the greatest players apart is ultimately competitiveness.

There’s a lot of players who have all the skills but a very few have that intense competitiveness which allows them to impose themselves on matches and to not let setbacks affect their performance.

Hopefully Archie has that quality.

He’s better than Fyfe

He played well in a VFL game. Clearly you’re under reacting.

I’m going to go with Dangerfield instead of Fyfe. I think Perkins’ athletic traits sound more like Danger.

Pertrarchie?

Clearly, l am playing the long game.

Given the delay before The VFL season starts I wouldn’t be upset to see Archie named in the AFL.

Suspect he might just miss out though.

He played well in a Vfl practice game…give him buddy deal now
