2016 Top 10 Draft Predictions

I had a strange dream last night.
The new potentials were running a race.
I was running in front of them…backwards. Perhaps i was filming them, I don’t know.
I couldn’t make out the first three, unfortunately, but the fourth runner was McGrath. And Taranto was causing a huge stir, as he powered forward and started overtaking everyone as they came to the finish.

Yes but what does it mean?

Wait, you can run backwards as fast as they can forwards?

Fire Dodoro.

Maybe @Deckham you have deeply suppressed ambitions to be an umpire and that is why you are so good at running backwards.

hahahahaha
who the fark knows

To dream that you are walking or moving backwards indicates that your current course of action may be counter-productive. Whatever you are looking for in life seems to be moving away from you. Thus, you may feel a sense of failure or belief that you are unable to achieve your goals and aspirations. On the other hand, moving backwards in your dream indicate that you need to back off or retreat from a situation that you are currently facing in your waking life.

What are the chances looking like for Simpkin to get past the swans?

I couldn’t imagine dreaming about young men running towards me, would feel ■■■■■■ weird.
Women on the other hand…

Nah, I’m of the opinion that dreams are part of the subconscious, and that they will mean different things depending on who is dreaming them.

In this particular dream, the ‘filming’ part is not far from the truth. The ‘race’ is basically that - a race up the draft selection table. My dream tells me that I may subconsciously think that McGrath will not be the #1 pick. That I think Taranto is underrated. And that’s it.

Ezekial Elliott.

Reckon Taranto will be an out and out gun. But hasn’t had the year that McGrath and clug have had.

I think Taranto, will go higher - but your top ten is about right

I don’t think GWS will pick McCluggage. They’ll take Ainsworth.

McCluggage gets to Brisbane at 3. They’ll be incredibly happy.

Adjusted from my previous. This time with setterfield bid at 1. Both Matched and not matched.

Bit of a thought exercise to see if Brodie could fall to 20, has a couple of assumptions built in.

Assumption are bids for setterfield Bowes and perryman, GWS loosing picks for Whitfield and some player going earlier than previously expected from media specialist rumours.

Can’t see Sydney going Scrimshaw with hayward, simpkin, logue etc still on the table don’t need another big issue midfielder

Also no Hayward given that he was invited to the draft night surely has to go top 15

No love at all for Florent north at 14 has apparently said doesn’t want to leave the state

1. Essendon- Hugh McLuggage 2. GWS- Andrew McGrath 3. Gold Coast- Jack Bowes (Brisbane Bid) 4. Brisbane- Ben Ainsworth 5. Carlton- Will Brodie 6. GWS - Will Setterfield (Suns Bid) 7.Gold Coast -Sam Petrevski-Seton 8. Fremantle- Tim English 9 Gold Coast - Tim Taranto 10. Sydney Swans- Jy Simpkin
Pretty much spot on with this top 10 Houli. Mine is pretty much identical with the top 9. Pick 10 I think Sydney would go with Florent. The swans want someone quick and agile which both Simpkin and Florent possess however as it's pick 10, they wouldn't want to risk it with a player that only showed his skills in one game this season.

North have a link to Galucci so that why I put him there, yeah Hayward could get squeezed in somewhere which helps my case for Brodie to slip.

Wasn’t aware of Florents desire to remain in VIC.

Carlton apparently keen on SPS also, but if we go Setterfield they could have McCluggage or Ainsworth there at 5 so they’d likely choose the Victorian.
