If they got the Black and White Eyed Peas then they would’ve won
i’m sure it’s a right mind ■■■■ over there right now. you’ve taken one for the team, you’re a good man.

Reckon I’ve watched “the block” 30 times. At no point does Rioli take he’s eyes off the ball. Play on every time
hmmm i dunno. if that’s hawthorn, they get that free kick. i reckon we’d be ropeable if the same happened to us.
Not a block.
Maynard engaged Rioli 1st after misreading the flight of the ball.
Well it’d be worse over here if the Cult of Eddie had’ve won. So in this instance you are the sacrificial lamb that will save millions.
Wonder what Leigh Matthews thought of the non high to Shuey, or Howe caught stone cold HTB (based on how they were paid against WCE several times) virtually in the goal square?
Also putting himself in position to take mark initially also before Sheed got back to do that himself
Not a block IMO. But joyous that Pies bleeding over it.
The umpire actually said it wasnt paid against him as the wce player put it under him, but the replay showed differently…!
Back a very long time ago, I used to gate -crash Young Lib soirees. Got to eat oysters, drink champagne and meet delightful blonde ladies who were very willing to be corrupted by a long-haired socialist. But I matured, and found that you actually yearn to have a meaningful conversation sometimes with a partner. Nothing meaningful could ever by discussed with a cold hearted lawyer lady, who used delaying tactics to prolong the action taken by the James Hardie workers dying from asbestos related illness. She makes other political females look like saints, rather sleep with Amanda or eat broken glass.
and never mind that in pretty much every single holding the ball decision like that, where the player supposedly dives on or drags the ball in, the opponent is the one who drags it under and holds it there. Ump just swallowed his whistle.
Having reconsidered, i could see how it wasn’t a block.
Don’t remember being outraged by a high tackle to Shuey, but he is a Selwood-level ducker.
Yeah there was one where Cox caught him clean around the neck but the Ump was blind sided. Cox gave him a spray for throwing the head back but the replay and reverse angle showed it was a clear high free kick.
Maynard definitely went to Rioli, hoping to spoil his jump to the mark. Rioli then engaged back. You could see why the umpire could have paid it against Rioli if he only saw the last part. Fair call.
So I guess we can assume the Ump actually watched the entire contest and made the correct decision as opposed to say closing his eyes and then just plucking whatever free kick he saw first when he opened them.
Let’s assume that.
There was the lack of protected zone 50 WCE didn’t get that resulted in a turnover and Collingwood goal.

Yep. that one was 50 every single game during the H&A, no doubt about that one. Pies player could’ve stuck his hand the Eagles’ back pocket.
