Yeah that sounds about right. He was an odd player J Merrett.
Early on, in his first year or two, even though he wouldn’t get heaps of the footy I thought he showed the skill and class to suggest he’d develop into a really nice player.
Then after that he played two or three genuinely good games such as the Carlton game and I reckon one against Melbourne but apart from these odds games he was just very unremarkable.
