2021 Draft Watch

dodoro would lie to his mother if he meant he could draft a utility with midfield potential

Would seem stupid to draft a Chesser?

My mock draft I went through today had our picks coming in to 45 and 50 (based on bids for Darcy, Daicos and Fahey).

Yeah, I thought that might be the prevailing view. Perhaps wishful thinking but with his small size, injury ruining his season and our third rounders probably coming in 5-6 spots, I can see a glimmer of hope there.

Even in as much that he might slide late enough that we could potentially do a non-invasive pick swap to get up the order a bit further

If we got a second round pick, would you be happy with Murley??

Or is that too early?? (I know it rhymes)

Is this a genuine super draft or is it just over hyped ?

We’ll let you know in about 4-5 years

And realistically, anyone claiming different is talking crap

Ssshhhhhh
Cooper has plummeted thanks to his lack of football this season. He will be able to picked up quite late but is absolute quality

Zak Butters type??

If you take away pies first 5 picks and dogs first 4 picks our pick 51 comes in 9 spots. But things can change with live trading etc

All this analysis shows that our 2nd & 3rd picks in the draft will be speculative as they will be well after pick 40.

It would be interesting to review which players that made it after pick 40 in previous drafts to see their strengths and knocks to see if there is any pattern/characteristics that led them to being successful when most people questioned them.

What’s the point of these when they come up with crap like this. They says he’s likely to go in the top 10 but have him being picked by us at 13.

I really like the sound of this kid, although the info is scant. What’s his draft range? A bolter into draft contention, or into the first round?

We got Sam Durham who was over looked in ND, PSD & Rookie draft.

If the clubs have done their homework there will still be gold in the 3rd round. I’d say it’s very likely 1 or 2 of our picks will be 19 year olds.

A top 30 bolter, got injured at the worst time possible but looked on track to push for that top 30. My only concern is that he hasn’t been able to test himself against the best but his athleticism and toughness will make him hard to ignore.

Looks good, apart from the haircut!

What do the black squares indicate?

You need to add two for the players picked, so it would be 9 - 2 = 7 spots.
GWS may have a couple go as well. But there are some NGA prospects in the 20-40 range.
