I’m in large trouble with Oliver and Danger sidlined, Boak still struggling with his ribs, Yeo all but in early retirement and poor old Erasmus starved of opportunity despite strong showings.

Thanks @Dunlop, very surprised with my score this week but it’s a welcome result. Unlucky for you to get me this weekend.
Overall very happy with the progress of the squad. Still have a bit of room for improvement if I can get Treloar and Lipinski into my forward line. Also have a bit of room for a decent pure C so hoping one of my younger mids can step-up or might look for a veteran C in the trade period.
My season has mirrored Essington so far.
On that basis, I am happy to take one for the comp and let you win the flag

What do people think about thebench website?
It is clunky but otherwise, I think it’s been better than I expected when I first saw it.
The good…
- I like the dashboards scores showing average/players played. It’s very clear to work out whether you’re tracking well or not.
The bad…
- It’s annoying that once Sunday’s day game completes, it’s tough to find the scores. As Dunlop said, only way is to go to coaches box, then matchup.
- The biggest weakness in it is that it is tough to find player stats in the players tab (for potential free agents). UF was perfect, but this website is tough and I almost need to do my own research elsewhere (or check the Dunlop thread) then check if they are actually available.
- switching players in and out after a Thursday game is played is difficult. I end up using a table in notes to set my team through the week and then on team selection night, then do what I have to do on thebench.
We’ll probably find another problem with it during the bye rounds, but I think it’s been okay in the absence of anything even remotely like UF.
Hopefully someone creates a friendly website or the FantasyDT game evolves to make thebench pretty much obsolete.
It’s bloody horrible, especially on the phone, but better than nothing. Just.

Needs to have a ‘green tick’ system, that should be a non negotiable feature.

Yes agree. And also should be able to see all the players not selected rather than just those selected and on the interchange.

Yeah i’ve stuffed up a few times thinking i’m replacing someone on the field from outside (bench or non-selected), but i’m just swapping positions on the ground to leave the non selected player on ground.
Usually stems from not being able to fully work out who is selected and who isn’t.
I’ve resorted to reviewing team lineups and then within a spreadsheet, colour coding to make sure i’m close to fielding a best team (cross ref the lines on the bench)
