Will need a few more bits of fortune to get close I think but it certainly brings me somewhat back into the contest. Will need vintage performances from Mitchell and Macrae which haven’t existed this year, but so far I think I’ve only had one player go above average and prime scorers well down.

Surprised with the win.
I thought @JBaller92 was around the mark after the early Sunday game.
Didn’t bother checking the rest of the day.
Still waiting for a debut from Cook, Dow and Sharp this year. Apart from the first month of footy, they’ve barely even made it as an emergency on the team sheet, yet they’ve had strong seconds form.

Just a quick reminder around the FA rules for waivers because there’s usually some confusion.
I. Waivers
All players delisted from a team are immediately placed on waivers. Upon the occurrence of this event a player will remain on waivers until the next round of waivers have been processed. All teams, except for the team that delisted the player, are eligible to place a claim for the delisted player during this waiver period.
Teams who delist a player are unable to reclaim that player via waivers, they can only place a free agent claim for him in the hope that he clears waivers.
This past week, @The_Mad_Bomber had to have a waiver pick voided and the only reason I picked it up was because he mentioned it in the memo. Otherwise, I would have processed it and thought nothing of it. Whilst it didn’t affect any other picks (luckily) there could be the odd time where it wildly affects other picks taken. And I have to confess, once I process FAs on the Wednesday night, I barely have a chance to reprocess FAs before Thursday team selections (especially given we have a few international coaches). When rounds start on a Friday, there is time, but the Thursday night games make it very tough to process FAs and give people time to sort out thebench.
For this year, the rule will remain as is (with some measures put in place), but next year, it’ll be removed to make life easier for all and encourage the use of the waiver system.

Another note…
The Mid Season Draft is this Wednesday. Given it’s unlikely that thebench will be ready for it in time for Thursday team selections and assuming that very few will be selected for the upcoming round, those players will be held over until next week and available as free agents (not waivers).
This allows our overseas coaches some time to know who was selected.
Plus we probably need the extra week to sort out the positions of each player available.

A big fail in Harris Andrews gross 19, then Moore and Walker not getting to 50 was a big dager.
But we push forward and front up again!

@Dunlop can I please LTI list both Ladhams and Jamaine Jones. In the official AFL injury report today Ladhams’ injury is described as ‘significant’ with a TBC return date. While Jones had ankle surgery on Monday and is listed as 8-10 weeks away.
Both approved.

Everybody should have received an updated spreadsheet to assist with trading.
Bye Rounds Rules
- Players must have played in their AFL team’s game prior to their bye in order to be eligible for a bye score
- Any player that plays but is listed as injured on their club’s AFL injury list or is suspended is ineligible
- All eligible players that aren’t ruled out due to injury or suspension, will receive their season average as their bye score
This week the bye teams are: Brisbane, Fremantle, St Kilda & Sydney
All players who played last round are eligible to receive a bye score this week with 2 exceptions: Sean Darcy (AG) & Hunter Clark (Dunlop).
Jaegar O’Meara & Dayne Zorko will also be ineligible should they not be cleared by the AFL Tribunal tonight.

Doesn’t impact me but curious to understand why a suspended player is penalised? Shouldn’t they just miss the match(es) they’re suspended for?
