I can’t let this round go with a bit of a summary of the last month or so…
The Good
- Rowan Marshall take a bow. Only 3 sub 100 scores this year. Very good.
- Sheldrick has been nothing short of brilliant. Exactly what I needed to stay invested in the team and keep on the path I’ve set for the last few years.
- May as well add Matthew Johnson to that list. It looks like I’ve got a few good ones here.
- JUH and JHF are going to be massive for me in the coming few years. Again, just need patience.
- Cam Mackenzie hasn’t performed quite so well, but he’s shown he can go big. Just need to have patience.
- Somehow I’ve managed to win 3 of the last 4 games. I’d love to say it was by design, but I genuinely wasn’t expecting any of them. Especially while I was trying to make all those trades.
- I got some value from the trades. I could have probably got a bit more, but I’m fine with what I’ve got and should have a strong draft hand next year to focus on my backline.
The Bad
- Some selections errors. Andrew Phillips deserves a spot in my 18. Not sure why I’ve missed naming him a few times.
- Will need two of the last four wins to make finals. I doubt I make finals.
The Ugly
- If I make finals, I’m getting smashed. I’m the 8th worst scoring team in the league and my highest score of the year was 1340~. That’s not beating anyone.
- Looks like I’ll be holding on to a few VFL/SANFL scoring talent a little while longer. Very disappointed with Sharp, Dow and Brayden Cook. They will find it tough to make my keepers.
@Dunlop can I take Duursma off the lit list this week please.

You would be able to, but he’s never been on your LTI this season - you’ve got Culley & Williams on there currently. Who you have on LTI and when they can return from are at the top of the current squad thread.
Speaking of LTIs - 2 more weeks for new LTIs - nominations close at the start of Rd 19, so if you want to switch anybody that has already served their 6 weeks, now is the time to do so.
@wimmera1: In the event McGovern, is selected, and you want to name him as part of your 22, you just need to delist someone (@ me on here so I can update my records) or nominate a new LTI to replace him.

Don’t recall that happening with 7 coaches bidding.
Unfortunately, red bull missed out on Taj Woewodin.
I’m going to need to hope that people drop their half decent non keepers a few weeks before finals.
This is probably the only time I’ve ever really felt there hasn’t been a delisted player worthy of a waiver claim.
