Phillips was suspended. I didn’t realise Sheldrick was injured (that was my bad).
I screwed up FAs. Didn’t get a defender and Moyle was unlikely to play.
JHF wasn’t known until the morning of team selections.
Dev Robertson our and named emergency didn’t help.
Unfortunately, Bonner, McKenzie (the Hawthorn one) and Parnell barely made it to emergencies.
I have 4 empty spots in my 18 and 4 emergency named players on my bench but only three of them can actually end up on the field. Regardless of the setup.
I fully expect @Allblack to totally smash me this week.
Tried to make changes, including to Logue who isn’t playing (for the rest of the year).
Interchange will cover it.
Honestly, this site makes it way too hard for me to care very much.
In a weird reverse way, the platform has made me less interested in checking my team through the week & weekend, because it’s just too damn hard to look for players & info. @Dunlop has done a great job of filling in as many gaps as possible this year.
I will confess that I began this year thinking this was going to be my final year, but somehow, the platform didn’t make it an easier decision. I do want to stay in this competition a little while longer.
It goes without saying that we are going to be changing platforms next season. There aren’t many options at the moment, but we’re hoping more come into the market once January / February rolls around.
And unless someone wants to volunteer to take up what Dunlop does (please PM @Allblack or myself if your interested), there will need to be rule changes.
It’s probably a good time to mention that decisions on rules won’t quite be made for a bit of time. We have discussed quite a lot of rule changes, so there are a lot of options on the table, but that’s all they are right now. Options. We’re hoping to send out a survey to gauge what the group think about certain rules, etc. but for the meantime we’ll let the season unfold a bit.
