So low key I can’t even see him on the Hawks list…
Ethan Phillips should get games.
He scored decently through the second half of VFL last year.
My list is really midfield and forward top heavy so I need defenders and if he can turn out to be 80% of what Luke Ryan is, I’ve done well.
Still have six picks in the next 45 to go.
I’m going to spend some time sorting out AFL Fantasy.
Please scan through any problems with keepers. I’ll be checking the squad thread, the xls file and what was posted as I enter in each keeper.

Okay…
I changed a setting and the draft will start in 30 minutes.
It looks like It’s completely lost the draft order.
So…
I’ll sort out what that means when the draft starts…
I’m not having a go…

But I don’t see him on my available players spreadsheet and I don’t see him on the Annual AFL Record Hawthorn list.
I am honestly confuzzled.
Phillips was an SPP player only added to Hawthorn’s list in the last few weeks

I haven’t looked at the spreadsheet.
I’ve been going by the DT scores of games (it’s easy to tell the rookies), then checking against the AFL Fantasy list.
Is he not in the xls file?

Hey, I’m just wondering if I have to worry about what position my bench players are, like do I need at least one ruck on the bench or can I just have all midfielders?
Last year’s rules were that you can name whoever you want on the bench. There are no restrictions like 1 ruck, 1 forward, 1 midfielder and 1 defender. If a player in your 18 doesn’t score, he can only be replaced with someone from the bench who is eligible to play in that position.
But just remember, it is a rolling lockout. So you’ll be able to change you list as long as they haven’t played yet (just like SC).

I will be driving for the next hour if my pick comes up. Also I haven’t had a change to review who is available so i may take a bit but will try not to hold things up too much.
Yep listed McLean as a keeper and he was R/F when I checked the fantasy website yesterday before deadline.

I’ve done ten of the teams keepers on AFL Fantasy.
I’ll do the other 8 later on tonight and I should be able to do whatever is drafted to that point so it looks like we’ll be able to rely on AFL Fantasy for available players by tomorrow morning.
There is one restriction though…
Once a player is drafted to a team, a position is assigned for him. And you can’t switch that position until the draft is complete.
So hopefully whoever you do draft ends up slotting into the positions that are left over from your keepers.
