I’ve seen a fair bit of these guys. Callinan is a very crafty player around goals but isn’t the quickest, maybe that’s why he wasn’t drafted. Sanchez reminds me of fantasia, his shots at goal can be a little erratic though, but he could be like fantasia and bloom in an AFL environment and De La Rue is a very good footballer with good disposal, is a bit short though might be the reason he wasn’t drafted, he isn’t really a small forward/goal sneak either, more a mid or high half forward. I’m talking last year under 18s, not this year.

SA had an opening batsman called Ashley Woodcock back in the Chappell era. Some relation to Roger?
They have to persist with him and hope he improves as they haven’t got anyone else really either

This guy’s been mentioned for us, but now that I’ve had a closer look I’m not sure he’s what we need. Plays a little more like a bayley fritsch lead/mark guy, and his defensive efforts need some work.
He has kicked a LOT of goals in this years Talent League though.
Genuine question. Does anybody know if Fejo is playing good footy anywhere?

We’ve had more success with guys taken from the state leagues, it would somewhat go against the grain.
They can compensate us with the first pick of mid-season draft.

Oskar Smart fits us perfectly, but he will be gone
Tassie lad Geordie Payne might be an option as a small forward option.
I’d consider Dayton Uerata, he is the Pios captain, so he could be another voice in Harley’s ear luring him to tulla. Dayton is fast and powerful, good tackler, isn’t a man child so could develop into a faster Guelfi type
