You are a much happy and healthier person than I am based on this comment and honestly I wish I was more like that.
yep. I have had my serving
Nice to see Hep giving Laverde and BZT a little bake midway in the 3rd after they got in each other’s way and gave up a goal.
Me too. I was really concerned he would go backwards because of his run with injuries last two years, and I thought it would benefit him if he gave up the captaincy. Very happy he proved me wrong and it wouldn’t be an issue if he keeps the captaincy for another year (as long as he stays healthy though).
He deserves all the success he can get. He’s also a really good human being.
One was from a chain that started on wing with Laverde being caught htb. Hep got outmarked by Ceglar outside 50. Breust burnt bzt on the lead. Looks like match ups were completely FUBAR for that whole play.
One was on BZT too
The best three weeks in a row he has put together since about 2015.
Very good game and in some great form.
But also noted the support he’s providing on the field.
Saw him put the arm around the kids (Cox & Perkins) during the game to offer that reassurance. Both had down days, but Heppell was providing that support to keep going and keep taking the game on.
While you are all eating humble pie, I’ll just sit here all smug
Heppell is a gun footballer. He is just doing what gun footballers do.
Is he having one of his best seasons, or am I just blind?
Both
He’s had so many injury interrupted seasons recently, we’ve (or definitely me at least) have forgotten what he can do when he gets consistency.
Blind.
He’s been good, but 2012-2017 he was one of the best mids in the league
He’s had some excellent seasons in the past. Been very good this year, though.
Just thought I’d re-hash this little gem.
Who has NFI?
Oh - and from another of my favourite posters.
I recall he was writing Bags off for about 5 years before he retired too.
My internet is just fine, thanks
