Probably means little but it’s good to hear that he’s engaged with his team mates and coaches. Could mean anything … when it comes to his footy he’s keen to learn and absorb any info coming his way / he doesn’t want to leave on bad terms / he’s committed to the cause and not leaving the club. Who knows, he’s been adamant about talking contract at the end of the season. He’s wanted to play well to lift his value?

Melksham pick doesn’t exist yet, and if Port can’t to better than trying to improve their offer to GC by chucking in pick sixty freaking seven, it might not exist until very late next week.

Pretty sure Brisbane will pick up Schache if they have pick one. So if Carlton take Weitering the incentive to spend big $ on Carlisle surely isn’t there.

I would much prefer 4, 9 & 23 than 4 & 5. It’s a good draft pick for a FOUR pick downgrade. We’ll likely only get one of Parish/Francis anyway. Pick 9 probably gives us a options out of Curnow, McKay, Weiderman or Collins. Top mid, good tall, 2 2nd round picks. Can fix a lot of areas in the side.
But 9 for Carlisle is low. I’d ask for the Adelaide steak knives (Lyons?) or Saints 3rd rounder (2015 or 2016, 2016 preferred).
