the bitter pill to swallow is teh club has no idea how to go forward, and keeps looking back for guidance from the amateur league, we need to be learning from professional contemporary sports organisations, yes respect the past, but dont make it our entire identity.

Going to be interesting to see how/where he fits in.

Our 3 mids in the majority of centre bounces were Merrett, Perkins and Setterfield. Really nice size balance.

Obviously Parish is a fantastic player though

Yeah Iā€™d agree, but honestly it wouldnā€™t make me super happy.
Itā€™s probably the right call, but feels like Perkins is really starting to build something, and Iā€™d love to see him continue

Midfielder Darcy Parish will not make the trip to Sydney, with a precautionary approach taken after the 26-year-old cited awareness following Wednesdayā€™s main training.

Maybe the precaution shouldā€™ve occurred before the awareness. Iā€™m not sure they know how precautions work.

Give a pass as heā€™s coming back from injuryā€¦but by golly the blokes football IQ is low. That rushed snap across his body in the last couple of minutes was the stupidest thing I saw all game. Zero pressure and gave it back to the opposition at a crucial stage.

I also think Brad must have given him a real rocket at half time because tackling was pathetic.
