Should be better for the run. First game in after injury was more than serviceable.
It was by far the smartest thing he could have done.
Dribbled the ball up the wing, won us 5-10 seconds and allowed everyone to set up behind the ball.
He was under heavy pressure and the absoulte worst thing he could have done was no look bomb it to no one and a saints player either marks and plays on or just gets it open and launches an attack when our players werent in position.
We lost the game to Port last year by doing exactly that.
Even the commentators said it was a good move.
Yup of the list of options at the time it was the least ā ā ā ā one
He lifted massively in the second half, several touches and thatās expected first game cob webs.
Next week he will lift even further.
He looks bigger
I think you mean THICCC
Threw himself in numerous times into dangerous situations headfirst to win in tight contests and get clean hands out to his team mates.
Was courageous all day.
Not his best game, pass mark for his first game back.
This would have to be one of the best posts Iāve read for a long time.
Well done good sir.
Off the pace big time but at least he survived the game. Long socks look 10/10.
If thatās his ābetter for the runā game, holy moly, heās going to have some blinders this year. A couple of miskicks and got stepped a couple of times, but he worked into the game really well.
His ability to ball hunt and somehow extract the footy when it looks like he should have no right to is nuts.
he seemed half a yard off the pace, but didnāt fumble and some of his ground ball gets were sublime.
As others mentioned, heāll be better for the run.
Rustier than the Tin Man at the start of Wizard of Oz
hes almost rocking chappy proportions
Yep I noticed that too.
Not to say heās been soft in the past but canāt remember him doing that so often in 1 game
his ability to pick the ball up off the ground and deliver a pinpoint handball in one motion is elite.
I liked his defensive efforts in this game. Heās built himself quite a powerful physique over the past couple of years- seems to hold his position over the ball and his tackles stick.
Heās a fine player, so glad we have him for many years to come.
Darcy āJobe Watsonā Parish aka RISH
Noticed him fumble practice hit outs in the pre match warmup and wondered how long itāll take to get his elite one touch back. Took all of half a game.
Massive reason in our 2nd half clearance dominance.
Goldstein kept missing him by mere inches with Darcy moving at pace through the contest, when those two get going it is going to be a joy to watch.
