What a legend.
Did exactly as required and the handover period to McKenna and McGrath has worked out perfectly.
Hope we can get another finals game in for him.

Well said, my sentiments exactly.
Very under rated in those strong Cats flag sides.
Very much appreciated for what he’s done at Essendon.
Good luck to him for whatever the future holds for him.
tough, fair, classy and smart. wish we had him a few years earlier. seems like a legend of a fella too.
good work pops.
Helped us out in our year of need and has been a solid contributor again this year. Thanks Pops.
Hopefully he comes back in a coaching role soon.
Had a great year last year, helped us nearly avoid the spoon.
Has been solid this year. unfortunately our team hasnt been good enough for finals, would love to see him in a finals team for us even if its a slim chance.
Has been a wonderful servant for the club.
One of the few players who has enhanced his reputation after crossing to a club post 30
I’ve no love for Selwood but seeing him and hepp chair Kelly off for his 300th was one of the better moments we had this year.
Class player, would love him to stick around in a coaching role

Gotta love a bloke that will bust his nut for the team. Good luck Pops.
The man should never have to buy his own beer if there’s at least one Essendon supporter in the pub. Thanks, Pops.
He’s been great for our club. Thanks Jim and best wishes for his future.
Great on field memories.
Never forget his crazy laughing on that vid when Darcy was nominated for the rising star last year, and also his costume at mad Monday. Great off field memories.
Thanks Pop’s you were tops.
Now, how about a coaching development role?
Hes slotting into that afl academy role thats been on hold for 2 years.
He was magic for us last year but has slowed a bit in 2017. This was the right decision.
LOL Geelong.
Coming from a family that is half Essendon half Geelong, both geographically located and team supported, I love any chance for both teams to share the love for particular individuals. Bomber of course, and now we can all also claim Kelly as a special part of our club(s). He really embraced Essendon in his time here and has been invaluable in such a short space of time.
Thanks for eveything james
He says he wants to coach. Sign him up!
Now!
Hard as nails, without the chip on his shoulder, his actions spoke volumes.
