#5 - Elijah Tsatas (Part 3: status TBC)

Maybe he’s just accepted his fate i.e. not getting another look in at Essendon and decided he’ll just go full pelt in the VFL and try win something there. If our 2s get into finals and go deep and Elijah puts his efforts into the VFL, who says there’s not some sort of personal achievement gained .. and maybe a lazy medal.

The future starting 2027 for Tsatas though? Who knows

He does most things poorly. Overall a very ordinary footballer who I have absolutely no fear of embarrassing us if he goes elsewhere.

Pfft. EFC doesn’t want that type around the place. That is why they have been so successful playing the modern game.

Must have been high that day he ran past the ball to get to the interchange.

It’s only the Saints but since his recall he has had mid to high 20’s every game and been in their best 2 of the last 3 games.

They stuffed him around a bit but finally seem to have settled on his spot

He does look like he’s been on the bong a lot of the time

He’s been alright, they’ve got a decent player, but jeez he’s up himself. They’ve given him a lot of time and chances after quite a bit of injury, similar to Tsatas only in the latter respect

Pou and Bailey are streets ahead of Tsatas. If every club could pick 2 of the 3, each one would leave Tsatas against the wall.

Another game where Tsatas is doing non-Tsatas things: 6 tackles, 5 score involvements and two shots on goal to go with his 32 touches.

It’s good to see that he is continuing to evolve his game.

Wasn’t the cleanest with his disposal today, but the conditions were pretty bad.

Baffling that he wasn’t picked before Setterfield. We know what Setterfield is.
We don’t know what Tsatas is at AFL level.

At this point, you know they would pick Parish and Perkins before him too.

He’s clearly gone at the end of the year, but I hope some one else gives him a chance and nothing would be better than if he makes us pay dearly for it.

I challenge you to post during Lij’s next match, when we can all see him running around on telly

:stuck_out_tongue:

Go to the AFL site, you can see him run around every week.

I mean you are Lij until you prove otherwise.

But I was also joking.

I think we do. He’s a one-paced plodder with poor skills, no defensive intent and poor endurance.

I’ve been accused of being his mum, his dad, his girlfriend, his best mate, finally himself. What’s next? His landlord? His accountant?
