#6 Joe Daniher - wants out of Tulla on the full

I have a lot of hope for my personal future.

Essendon football Club. Not so much. And I hope like F*ck they prove me wrong. But I can’t see it. I’m just glad that football is done for 6 months, so I don’t have to watch our inconsistent & incompetent club for a while.

Pretty sure JD himself indicated he should have been more forthcoming regarding how he was going

For a player with a laid back attitude who probably was like “it’s nothing much, I’m fine” when in reality he was pushing through pain and struggling more than letting on that’s where it becomes grey

If he only telling them it’s a bit sore and they modify his training mid week and he says he is right to play it’s a tough one

He loves playing footy. And would have kept putting himself up.

Whilst that sounds appealing I’d just rather them out before the GF.

What evidence is required?

Does anyone begrudge Jaeger moving from GC to Hawks if he lost confidence in his team getting him back out onto the ground?

I don’t even understand how somebody could begin to blame Joe in this situation.

All players do that.

Not sure what relevance that has.

You made a statement that I had no evidence of anything I was saying.

Which is why I asked you, what’s your evidence in what you’re saying?

Im not the one blaming Joe for leaving…

I’m saying that its reasonable that he would want too…

I just ate a pizza. Completely irrelevant, but I strangely felt like sharing. As you were.

As much as I love the club, Essendon would probably be the last club i’d wanna play for if I wanted success.

We are laughing stock from the CEO down to the bootstudder.

Last years contract extension of Worsfold is evidence of that. Our refusal to move him on as well as the CEO and admit fault just adds more weight to it. We’re a basketcase of a club.

Yep, to all of this.

And that’s the difference of opinion. Nothing more to say regarding that I guess cause I won’t be changing my mind. And you won’t change yours.

Back to discussing other topics!

What’s wrong with our boot studder?
I haven’t heard a thing.

They aren’t meant to.

Honesty about these things is selfless and required for the good of the team.

The relevance being you trying to dissociate any blame of JD’s when he had a major part in pushing on to be played each week

Whilst many players manage groin soreness, it becoming full OP doesn’t seem as common if managed properly which requires open and honest communication from the player

Mismanaged O.P.
Partly joes fault, mostly ours
Now joe is a swan.

I am not trying to dissociate any blame of JD as I agree he has input in the discussions as well.

The medical department are ultimately responsible though as they are the professionals and its their job.

It still doesn’t answer my question of why Joe should stay.
