Joey is a restricted free agent at the end of 2020. So if we match any Sydney offer then he is still a Bomber for three years until he is a Free Agent. (if out of contract)

This is the absolute truth. Injuries are part of football. I do not think he owes the club for this time out of the game. However, I do feel he owes it to them to see out his contract. The reason why he is leaving has nothing to do with ‘lifestyle choice.’ It is something to do with the big stench coming out of the club at the moment. The fact that he does not feel that he owes the club or want to be at the club is damming!
