Which never lasts.

Looks like Zak and his bomber team mates are getting into the Xmas spirit together - good signs

It lasts until you bring a younger woman home for the night.

They get the message then and depart.

I agree, Zach wanted to leave for success, these things can change pretty quickly,

Whilst I don’t think we will be playing finals we could show significant improvement with a young list to show really strong signs from 2027 onwards. The hawks on the other hand didn’t improve their list this offseason. In fact many would argue it went backwards whilst those around them (Gold Coast, GWS, Brisbane, Sydney etc) significantly improved their list for the short term.

I can see a world where at the end of 2026 both Essendon and Hawthorn are in the 9-12 bracket.

Hopefully that younger women’s name is Zak Butters.

while sniggering to the younger woman ‘he’s over the hill’

Yep- Most of us are hoping there are defining moments/games in 2026 that are a genuine preamble to success.

Doing a WA Bombers event.

Well, it wouldn’t be free, but worth it.

Dawks to lose a prelim. again. (crying over not getting Zachy)

They will offer us the world to get him.

Problem will be we will make the 8, win our 1st final in years

Zach to stay
