#7 - Zerrett - New Beginnings

Surely there’s a dingus storytime / fireside chat to be booked in to delve deeper into this topic

I changed the locks while she was at work. Now that was a fun night.

Police were called and she went to live with a “friend”

Could be an interesting night.

Lol

This pr¡cks love for a dollar really knows no bounds.

Rather than just put his head down he’s prepared to squirm through awkward sh¡t like this for a cashie.

Audience member “Hey Zach, why did you want to be traded”

Zach “I love the club, but it’s direction means that I won’ be seeing success any time soon. I have given my all and will put my head down and work hard again this year.”

Audience member “What’s your thoughts on that Andy?”

Andy “Well, Nobody works harder than Zach, he loves the club, but the direction of the club has changed and Zach is nearing the end of his career and is seeking success. All the boys have gotten around him.”

Audience member “What’s your thoughts on that Duzza?”

Duzza “He’s a ■■■■”

I heard all proceeds raised will be going to Hawthorn to help pay for Zach’s contract next year.

Nothing wrong with answering the questions. If he went into hiding and didn’t say anything (like the first couple of months after the failed trade) he will cop it too.

As I’ve said many times, I have no issues with us keeping him and him continuing to play as he will always give 100%. Just when he wants to be traded at the end of 2026, he needs to give us a choice of clubs so that he can go to a contender and we get the best possible deal for him

He’ll trot out his usual weirdly phrased bs to keep the peace, get his little cashie sorted then request a trade at years end.

Zach “I’m 100% committed to the club”

Audience member “Which club Zach?”

Zach “Well it looks like we’re out of time. Have a good evening everyone.”

I went to 1 of these nights a couple of years ago, with Merrett and Parish, it was in Moe. They don’t make a lot of money out of such events. On a brighter note, it is good to see Durham involved.

AFL to promote Hawks-Dons game on failed Merret move

Never one to miss a meaningless promotional angle or to provide vapid and cynical support for a community cause, the AFL announced today that the round 1 game between Hawthorn and Essendon would be called the “Short Kings Cup”. This would recognise the promotional aspects of Merret going up against his preferred coach in Mitchell after the worst trade strategy by a player & their manager in AFL history. It would also draw attention to the challenges the vertically impaired face in our society.

Merret who has been described as a turged little goat ■■■■■■ who ■■■■■■ in the mouth of the club that repeatedly topped up his salary then failed to 5h1t him out during the trade period after a late and offensively poor trade offer from Hawthorn, said of the game, “Great to promote this cause with Sam who also whilst suffering from angry short man syndrome has managed to apply extremely selfish behaviours to achieve individual successes.”

We will be playing for the Merrett/Weddle cup.

The Sam Mitchell is a Smug Kent Cup.

Merrett was at Redman’s wedding the other day. At least he’s managed to attend one out of 4 this off-season.
