said that he stayed out of it today and let his management deal with things.
A very well spoken young man! Looks and speaks a bit like Monfries.
Thanks everyone.
Pretty standard stuff.
- Was a tough decision to leave GWS and ultimately came down to either Ess or farkcarlton
- Barrett pushing the angle that fark were still in the frame late, Shiel played a straight bat and suggested he stayed out of things and let his managers work on getting something done (didnt confirm or deny anything)
- didnt want to talk about the pitches from the various clubs
- Ultimately came down to a âfootball decisionâ, timing ws right in that he was ready to move and Ess the best fit
- Seems to be a fan of X, and suggested he was a big part of getting it done
- Looking forward to âworkingâ with Heppel, Smith, Stringer
- Very happy with the leadership off field - mentioned X and Dodoro again
Says all the right things, WSPHU.
He is the floggiest of all flogs.
X GON GIVE POST FOOTY OPPORTUNITIES TO YA
Disco chuffed. Apologies if posted already

Shiel made a big sacrifice $$ wise to choose us

We even though didnât want to had to do same, just get him in the door, with giving up two 1stâs as GWS played hardball
Has been given jumper #9.
Will do it proud.
Stoked to have Dylan at out club. Took me a minute of to type this. Iâm stoked t have him here.
Norm Smith and Brownlow next year , or just Norm Smith ?

Acceleration, speed , strength and great ball use . Gun player . Our midfield becomes much more competitive with the top teams .
His measure of performance wonât just be how he plays but also how Zerret plays.
Will help Zachy tremendously.
Essendon wanted to come out successâs and accomplished. Got the best mid in the trade, the most suspense, the longest trade.
Perfected the media drive. Exactly what they wanted.
Welcome Dylan, your the missing cog in our red and black machine. Weâll value your leadership and especially your hard work.
Most importantly and under appreciated aspect is your hair, #9 has never had better hair!
Exactly.
Heaps of early picks are ready to emerge for us, McGrath, Parish, Laverde, Langford, FrancisâŚ
Probably unlikely any will be better than Shiel, so this is a great grab. Not a last ditch top-up before a rebuild, but adding a genuine star to an emerging yet mature lineup.
Agreed. Definatly thought this early on in his career aswell. Just the way he moves and gets the ball and breaks packs.
Who fkg cares? Heâs ours now. If he was happy to play for Carlton he was stupid not to take the extra 300k PA and play for them.
I really want to watch this interview. Can you blur out the ch9 flogs face and alter his voice to make it watchable for me?
