It showed how bad defensively the mids were in the game by highlighting their efforts one was the Martin one on ginnivin about 2 minutes into the third quarter and another was Caldwell following ginnivin and just let him go into the forward line and he didn’t go with him
Re Caldwell on Ginnivan, maybe Caldwell was told to go to him in the midfield and someone else would take him in d50. Ginnivan goes into d50, Caldwell drops off, but for some reason no one picks Ginnivan up. If that’s the case it’s not entirely Cakdwell’s fault.
Watching what they show that’s a stretch to suggest that’s what happens when he literally jogs along and lets ginnivin go past and if there’s no one there to hand off to he should be going with him.
